Masters Running
Southeast Missouri has some of the best Masters runners in the country.
This is a fact that often goes unnoticed. Our goal is to highlight the
efforts of runners over the age of 40. We simply want to show that
Southeast Missouri is a leading area in healthy life styles and fitness for
people over the age of 40.
We are not far from noting in results age graded performances! All you
young runners watch out. A 17:30 5k time for a 43 year old just may be a
better performance than a 16:30 for a 20 year old. We are the first to
bring this addition of age graded performances to the state of Missouri.
September 20th- Kevin Hammes of Scott City places second overall in the
City of Roses Half Marathon
September 20th- Kevin Bramlett places second overall in the City of Roses 5k
September 20th- Steve Schmittzehe places second in the Male 45-49 Age
group at the City of Roses Half Marathon
September 5th- Kevin Hammes breaks course record at the Tamms 8 Miler
by just over 1 second!
